However this year, now that the house is pretty much finished and I don't have any more rooms in the house to decorate I have decided to concentrate on the garden, as long as the great British weather will allow me to. I'm really looking forward to having another space to relax in whether permitting.
I plan to paint the fence, buy some planters and also buy a big shed for storage. We currently have a small wooden bunker to keep bikes and other tools in but I feel that it's not big enough especially now that the kids are getting older and soon they'll both have bikes which will need locking away.
I have also been looking at garden tools from SGS Engineering as I would like to buy a pressure washer to be able to clean the concrete slabs myself instead of paying someone else to come and do them and I also need a hedge trimmer to keep the hedge at the back looking neat and tidy.
The kids don't miss out because we don't have a garden to play in as we live in the country side and we're always out exploring and getting fresh air but it would be nice when we begin to hit the warmer months so they can play outside with the sand pit, get the paddling pool out and enjoy the sun like all their friends do.
Some day when I own a house of my own I can only dream of having a bigger garden with decking, lots of nice plants and flowers, inviting friends over for BBQ's in the summer or sunbathing whilst the kids are at school. But I guess by the time that happens the kids will probably have left home!
Do you have any plans for your garden this year?

I am planning on getting a new garden set. Yes, I want a bigger garden too, it would be perfect for birthdays, and tea parties, and breakfast, lunch and dinner ;)
ReplyDeleteWe had our garden done last year but need to treat the decking and gate. We also could do with some outdoor furniture!

When you are drawing up your garden design, make a rundown of the plants and blossoms that you will put in each plot. This is a decent time to make a rundown of the devices that you don't have. It is additionally useful to check the apparatuses in your garden shed and dispose of devices that have turned out to be harmed or should be supplanted. homyden.com/mexican-bean-beetle-identify-prevent-get-rid-mexican-bean-beetles/
