Pacapod Jasper Luxury Changing Bag Review

Since becoming a parent I have been lucky enough to try out a number of different changing bags over the last three years, some which haven't met my preferences but many which I have absolutely loved and still use to this very day. If you've been reading the blog for a while you may remember I reviewed the Pacapod Moab a couple of years ago which has definitely been well used! Pacapod recently got in touch and asked whether we would like to try out one of their new bags for A/W 2015 and as I love the practicality of their bags I replied with a huge yes!

The bag we chose from the collection is the Jasper which is a beautifully soft slouchy leather changing bag in the colour 'Chestnut'. We have now been using the bag for a couple of months so I though I'd share my thoughts with you on this gorgeous bag!

✓ Hard wearing finish
✓ Over the shoulder handles and detachable leather across the body shoulder strap
✓ Inner parent pockets, one with key fob and mobile dividing pockets
✓ Inner cargo hold, which stores the unique feeder and changer pouch
✓ Padded baby changing mat with micro fleece headrest
✓ Feeder Pod included 4 pockets and insulated bottle cover

On first appearance the bag didn't look as big as I thought it would be however once I had everything inside I noticed just how big the inner part of the bag was and has a 23 litre capacity. I tend to keep an extra pair of clothes, some of Harrys toys and a blanket in here as well as my purse and there's still room for more! The is also a key fob and dividing pockets which are great for a mobile phone or sunglasses.

I love the detailing of the changing bag especially with the gold hardware, I have many tan and black bags and this is definitely one of my favourites in term of the design. The bag comes with over the shoulder handles and a detachable across the body strap which I prefer using when not attached to the pushchair.

At the front of the bag you have the inner cargo hold which stores the unique feeder and changer pod which can also be taken out and clipped onto the pram handle or can be used as their own as they come with padded backpack straps to convert into a toddler pack.

The Feeder pod includes 4 pockets and insulated bottle cover so there's plenty of space to store you babys bottles and milk or any snacks. The changer pod comes with an impressive 7 pockets with a detachable clothes pouch, first aid pocket and more! I love this pod as it easily fits a spare pair of clothes, nappies, wipes and any medicines etc.

I love the idea of these pods and loved using them with the Moab changing bag so glad to be able to use them again with the Jasper. I think they're very useful when on the go as you can easily access them at the front of the bag rather than rummaging through your bag looking for everything. They'd also be handy for anyone who drops their kids off at nursery and then heads to work as you can just take out the pods and hand them over and still have room left in your bag for your laptop or work files.

The Jasper changing bag retails at a whooping £250.00 which to some may seem rather excessive to spend on a changing bag but in reality its more than just a changing bag its a baby changing bag, cool bag and handbag all rolled into one which can be used for many years to come! In my opinion it's definitely a great investment as you can then use it as a normal handbag when you're done with the baby and toddler days. Also the bag is extremely luxurious and high quality, finished off with gold metallic dots and subtle hardware for a timeless look.

Overall I am extremely impressed with this changing bag and it has already got a lot of use out of it, Andy can now use the Pacapod Moab when he has the kids and I will continue to use the Jasper. I look forward to taking it on holiday next year too!

The bag is available to buy in either black or chestnut which are both great colours for all year round and will go with practically anything in your wardrobe.
