After seeing the film "Pan's Labyrinth" my husband and I fell in love with the name Ophelia and this name was top of our choices if our first child had been a girl. Well it WAS until we got onto the subject of middle names. We wanted something that meant something to us so had been looking to family members past and present for inspirational names. My mother-in-law unfortunately provided the suggestion for a middle name which quickly took the name Ophelia off the table. She suggested her late mother's name as a middle name. Her late mother......Fanny..... :-/
